Neighborhood Festivals to Fall Into

Fall is one of the most anticipated seasons to experience in Chicago.  It is finally time to put away your flip flops and replace them with your favorite boots. Just because the warm weather has passed, does not mean the fun has stopped in and around Chicago.  Cooler weather brings about new adventures as you experience new neighborhoods.  Chicago’s neighborhoods have a wide variety of festivals to fall into this Fall.

Oktoberfest_web_11NEWCan’t make it to Germany for Oktoberfest this year? Don’t worry! Chicago has got you covered. Break out your beer steins and celebrate with beer, bratwurst, music and more at Oktoberfest Chicago!  Now expanding to Southport, this year’s fest will be bigger and better than ever!  On Friday, September 27th  celebrate Craft Beer Night.  From 6:00 – 9:00 pm, enjoy 20 tastings from craft breweries around the country.  During the tasting you will be given a commemorative glass, a pretzel necklace and lots of good beer to sample!  Authentic German bands will be performing, celebrating German heritage Chicago Style.  There will also be family friendly events to participate in on Sunday at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. 1429 W.
