Trick or Treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! It feels like just the other day I was counting down the hours until school ended so I could start trick or treating. Featuring shadow puppetry, live music, literary eadings and a raffle, the All Hallow’s Eve Eve Variety Show mixes it up. Participants
include acclaimed artist/author Audrey Niffenegger (Her Fearful Symmetry), filmmaker Chris Hefner (The Pink Hotel), writer/editor Fred Sasaki (Poetry) and more. Freakeasy presents Day of the Dead
Chicago’s Burning Man scene congregates at the Metro for levels of revelry. The
DJ lineup is nuts—Phuture, Justin Long, Michael Serafini, Nate Manic & Duke Shin, Gene Hunt, etc., etc. It’s wonder other clubs have local house talent to man the decks.
